Bear Grylls On How He Coped With Bullying (TV Squad)

I signed up as soon as I could for the karate and aikido clubs, and found that
I loved the martial arts way—the focus, the camaraderie, and above all the
acquiring of an art that requires the use of guile over power, technique over
force.
And I stuck with it. That was the real key to getting good at martial arts:
time and motivation—and I certainly had the motivation, thanks to the foghorn.
A few of my friends also signed up with me, and came along to the early
classes. In actual fact they were invariably much better than me when we
started—often stronger, fitter, and more flexible—but after a few weeks they
all began to drop out.

everything i eat upsets my stomache? what can i do??
i am almost 12 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. i didnt experience anything like this with my 1st pregnancy, actually it was a breeze compared to what i am going through now. i am eating normal. i guess milk has been bothering me the most, acutally its causing me to have the worst stomache cramps ive ever experienced. everything from a string cheese to ice cream to a glass of milk. i have been taking tums which help initially but then the pains come about an hour after ive eaten. i take the tums before or right after. (before when i wasnt taking the tums the pain would be almost instant) what can i do, or what are the things that people eat if they are lactose intolerent in place of. like cheese and so on?? soy??? everything has some kind of milk in it!! thank you in advance.
My second pregnancy was far worse, too. Some people develop lactose intolerance with pregnancy. Both of my sons are allergic to milk and we use soy and rice milk and soy yogurt. We don't do cheese but you could try goat or sheep cheese, milk or yogurt. There are also soy, rice and almond "cheese" and almond and oat milks. Eat lots of leafy greens and take a calcium supplement (check with your doctor). You could try allergy websites, www.foodallergy.org is a good one, to find out what to watch out for, recipes, etc. Hopefully it will clear up after your first trimester.
For nausea, I'd eat a few crackers before getting out of bed, lay on my side, sip peppermint or ginger tea, eat lots of small bland snacks and try not to overdo activities.
